Maintaining Your Computer

Copyright @ 2007William Robinson Being a computer technical paid nice money and has for a long time. Why? .. Well, mainly because a large amount of new computer owners fail to learn how to use and maintain any new computer.
Before buying my first computer in 1998, I took a 8 hour class on the principles of operation of 95 windows system based Computer .. Even with the class within the first months, I had missed the computer 3 times! This gives you a little bit of an idea about what we have here today .. Many people are already receiving computers because friends have, or just to get in the chat rooms, or point to adult sites .. .. They dont know Using a computer, much less maintain one. To save themselves a lot of money and unneedless trips to the computer repair shop is a series of easy steps you can take to keep your new computer running fast and efficient. Personally, I have windows xp home edition running on my computer .. I think it& 39;s the best system out there at the moment. The choice is of course your operating system, as you install on your machine. Once at its new home computer and you set up an Internet connection, the first thing I recommend you do is get to the windows update site. The site will automatically update its new operating system files to prevent people from different computers to access their data. Next step is to install an anti-virus and spyware program on your computer .. If your purchase of a new computer from a large output, that is usually included with your purchase, but not always.Make sure to inquire about this when buying your computer. Both programs, anti-virus and anti-spyware is a must have in the current computer age .. You can get good information from Google (http://www.google.com). Just enter the anti-virus in the Search box .. You will receive options for a number of programs .. Even for the anti-spyware. Over time, you will see a lot of sites .. Most of these sites have what are called " cookies ". These are little packages of embedded data (files), which visited the sites you leave on your computer to track your browsing habits. After some time, these files should be purged (deleted) from its computer.Other files that need to be purged at least once a week, so its temporary files from Internet and its history files.Failing do that will really reduce the speed of your computer to a crawl and eventually cause a system crash, which means that you have to re-install the operating system .. When you open the internet explorer, In the upper left corner of the page, you will see the options .. Look for the Tools option.Left click " " Tools, and then left click Internet Options " ". From there, he must be straight foward to you. After you deleted your temporary Internet files and history archives, click OK " " I do this at least once a day .. Really keeps my computer running fast. Now im going to share with you some things you can do about what inside your computer (the case) or the computers hardware " ". No matter how clean the surroundings where you have placed your computer, over time, a large amount of dust and particles gather inside .. His mother, in the power supply in its cpu, all cards (video, sound, etc. ..) I clean the inside of my computer every 3 months and recommend to all new users also. Here do it is how: First, before you do anything, make sure the computer is disconnected from Taking and is completely off! Next is to get a screwdriver for those little round screws you must revert to get inside your case. When both sides of the case are removed, you need a can of compressed air .. You can buy it from any computer store for less than 5 dollars. You then spray all areas inside the case .. You should see the dust and dirt from the local flyng you sprayed. That 4 times a year (every 3 months) is a Great way to save a lot of money and keep your computer running like its brand new!
I hope that everyone has enjoyed my computer tips. Sincerely, William Robinson http://www.loans-incorporated.com My Place
